ENVIR 300, Case Studies in Environmental Studies, is the final in the core series of courses for the Environmental Studies major. Within the class, we considered the border wall, as it currently exists and as the Trump Administration envisions its expansion, as a case of intersectional complexity. A fantastic skill that I learned through that class was how to think about many different stakeholders in a given issue and put into conversation the different needs of those stakeholders. The above mind map is an example of the ways in which we considered different issues and stakeholders, illustrating their interconnections in order to better conceive of potential solutions.
